With Nicaragua Single Origin Fine Robusta, Caffè Borbone glorifies the concept of “terroir”. The best qualities of coffee in the world are grown here. It is a “single origin coffee”, that is, coming from a very limited area, in the north-west of Nicaragua, in a small cooperative near El Diamante de Las Segovias, a place renowned for the production of coffee, processed with the “Honey” method, a process reserved for the finest coffees and which gives a unique flavour to the coffee. An ethical coffee, which comes from the work of small native communities, creating an economic spin-off and which respects the raw material and the people. This highly refined, intense, full-bodied, soft and full-bodied single origin, never banal, is hand-picked, and is enhanced by the “Neapolitan” roasting which intensifies the aroma, the body, while at the same time giving softness to the palate.

Nicaragua grows some of the best coffee varieties in the world and for this reason we have chosen it to import a superior quality coffee, perfectly balanced, with a soft, rich and full-bodied cup, sweet and without too much acidity.

This very fine Robusta is grown at 250 metres above sea level, in a lush area located on the Atlantic side, exactly in the centre between the Equator and the Tropic of Cancer.
